Well done to the team of boys from years five and six who represented our school in the Leicester City Community Tournament held at the club’s training ground. The team played with great passion and teamwork and should be proud of the results they achieved. Thank you to Mr Williams and Mr Baylis for coaching the team.
Well done to the team of runners from years three, four, five and six who took part in the cross country event held in Market Harborough. Running in very challenging conditions, the children did well across the different races with many finishing in the top ten and one of our year three pupils winning their race. Thank you to the organisers and to Mr Williams for leading the team.
We were delighted to host the regional quiz competition again, welcoming teams from two other schools to take part. The teams are made up of pupils from years three, four, five and six with our teams selected after classes quizzes are completed. The children had a challenging but enjoyable time answering general knowledge questions across different rounds. Congratulations to the team from Fleckney Primary School who won with a very impressive total and now qualify for the next round.
Well done to the team of pupils from years five and six who represented the school in the recent competition at Robert Smyth Academy, finishing in third place. The team played with great enthusiasm and demonstrating the important sporting values which are consistent across all of our competitive teams. Thank you to Mrs Sparkes for coaching the team.
